Likely, this is because you were fascinated at the process it took to produce the sticks you drew with — or, if you were anything like us, because you had weeks of nightmares of being swept away in a flood of colored oil, being mashed up and having bits of you distributed across the world in boxes of Crayolas. Admittedly, we had a somewhat paranoid childhood.
