FROM JANIS JOPLIN to the Yeah, Yeah Yeahs' Karen O, rocker chicks know what they wear is almost as important as what they play. Their leather, studs, psychedelic prints and punky stripes look as hot on the street as on stage at clubs like the Rock N Roll Hotel, where Laura Burhenn (of D.C. band Georgie James), demo-ed spring's hit singles. "There's a bit of rebellion to rock style," said Burhenn. "It's playful and a little dangerous."
