Styles: A Dollop, a Dollar
AN ELF IS CUTE. E.L.F. cosmetics are cuter. And more economical, since everything in the brand is a dollar — an absolute steal when it comes to the new All Over Color Stick ($1, drug stores). The scent is a strangely addictive crayon-meets-orange juice, and the color (we tried Persimmon, a pinkish bronze) gave our pale-cheeked tester a hit of color, while adding luminescent highlights to our darker-toned girl. In fact, the effect was similar to Benefit's High Beam — only that formula will cost you $22.
» BUT MOM, EVERYONE ELSE GIVES TO CHARITY: Apparently, Toys-backwards "R" Us isn't just an obstacle course of screaming children. They can do some good, too. From March 18 through May 4, all stores will accept cash donations to support Autism Speaks. They also paired with the National Lekotek Center, an independent organization dedicated to children with disabilities, to come up with a special guide to toys appropriate for children with autism and other issues. The guide is available in stores and online here.
