Cameras to Snag Speeders on River Road
IF YOU'VE GOT A LEAD FOOT and like to take River Road to get between Maryland and the District, you'll want to watch your speed. D.C. police are planning to set up radar cameras today in the 4400 and 4500 blocks in upper Northwest to get your number, The Post's Allison Klein reports.
The cameras snap pictures of the license plates of cars going faster than the speed limit and send out an automated ticket to each car's registered owner. Tickets can range from $30 to $200, Klein reports.

Addison Road
People probably wouldn't speed so much if the city would take the effort to time the lights better and fix traffic flow problems.
