Hawthorne Heights Guitarist Dies Before D.C. Show

D.C. POLICE are awaiting the results of an autopsy on Casey Calvert, a rhythm guitarist for the emo punk-pop band Hawthorne Heights, who was found unconscious in the band's tour bus Saturday afternoon prior to an evening show at the 9:30 Club.

As The Post's Theola Labbe reports, Calvert, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On the Hawthorne Heights Web site, Calvert's bandmates said:

We've spent the entire day trying to come to grips with this and figure out as much as possible. At this time we're not sure what exactly happened. Just last night he was joking around with everyone before he went to bed. We can say with absolute certainty that he was not doing anything illegal. ... We don't want his memory to be tainted in the least.
