B.I.O.: Flipper Would Approve

When Robert Yost III took Kristen Dixon to the National Aquarium in Baltimore last January, she thought they were simply returning to the scene of their first date. Rob said they'd go on a behind-the-scenes dolphin tour -- which was kind of true.

"After the public dolphin show, we were taken by a trainer to meet and pet two dolphins," he says. "The trainer made the mother dolphin speak and then asked if either of us knew what the dolphin had said." On cue, Rob pulled out the ring and popped the question. "She said yes, and all of the dolphins performed tricks, and we were given a round of applause by all the trainers."

The couple will wed in a traditional Catholic ceremony outside of Baltimore on March 29. Afterward, they'll honeymoon in Hawaii. Is swimming with dolphins on the itinerary? "I hadn't thought about that," says Kristen. "That would be pretty fun. Maybe we'll have to set that up now."

Rob, 26, is a consultant. Kristen, 25, is a research coordinator. They live in Odenton, Md.
