White House Goes Wild for Kids' Egg Roll

THEN, JENNA BUSH spun around with frightening, feral intensity and gobbled up the little boy to her right.
Just kidding.
Jenna and other members of the First Family were on hand Monday to host the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition which dates back to 1878, when President Rutherford B. Hayes first allowed kids to scramble around his lawn.
President Bush and first lady Laura Bush kicked off the roll itself, according to wire reports. They were joined by a hallucinogenic-looking Easter Bunny (pictured at right getting a hug from the president) — the kind that would give most kids nightmares.
The younger Ms. Bush made the howling face above while reading from "Where the Wild Things Are." Barbara Bush — the former first lady, not Jenna's sister — also gave a reading, but her tale, "Arthur's New Puppy," was a bit more tame.

That rabbit costume looks like it could be the girlfriend of Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko.
Scary.

By IMGoph , Posted March 24, 2008 8:07 PMIf I was good enough at Photoshop, I'd almost consider it. Almost.
