Seasoned Jam: Widespread Panic

Panic-2.jpg ALRIGHT, CLOSET jam band fans, time to emerge. Why? Because this time you don't have to drive 10 hours way down South to catch one of Widespread Panic's long-winded sets. They're setting up shop tonight and Wednesday night at D.C.'s own Warner Theatre.

These grand-daddies of the trade have been around for more than two decades, and sometimes rock more than 250 venues a year. They are living proof that experience breeds, um, really long songs, and by extension, really long shows.

But long doesn't have to mean dull, especially when the group brags a fresh set list at every performance and the audience is in perpetual motion. Check it out here.
