Video: Celeb-Watching at the Correspondents Dinner
DID YOU MISS the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday night? Yeah, our invite got, uh, lost, too. But washingtonpost.com Celebritology blogger Liz Kelly was there, and she and videographer Francine Uenuma filed the video above from the red carpet.
Among those in attendance: Colin Powell, Martha Stewart, a very chatty Aaron Eckhart, a grimacy Pete Wentz, "Harold and Kumar" star Kal Penn and Jenny McCarthy. And Perez Hilton. Who I guess counts.
Aside from Donatella Versace, the strangest thing in the video is the ear-rattling screeching of fans, which is a bit out of place in normally staid Washington. Maybe they were all tourists.
