Medical Discussion: Away From Her

Photo courtesy Lionsgate Films IT MIGHT BE the weirdest idea for a film series ever. "I know!" said someone at the NIH. "Let's do a free film series about diseases! Awesome!"

So they are. It begins tonight with "Away From Her," last year's movie featuring Julie Christie's astounding performance as a woman suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.

There will be a discussion afterward with a neuroscientist. About Alzheimer's. It will be really good, I promise, but it will also be incredibly depressing.
