David, 23, is a staff assistant on Capitol Hill. Erin, 24, works for the Atlantic Media Company as an IT administrative coordinator. They live in Arlington.

» The Main Event: A Roman Catholic ceremony at St. Rita's Parish in Alexandria on Feb. 7. They will celebrate their union at Top of the Town, a private party venue in Arlington with views of the Potomac River, the National Mall and the Capitol.

» How They Met: In New Jersey while working on the Senate campaign for Tom Kean Jr.

» First Date: The lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. "It was something I'd wanted to do forever, but it was a long day and cold. I complained a lot," Amy says.

» How He Proposed: In the Rose Garden at the White House. "I had her convinced I wasn't proposing that night, so she was completely surprised. So much so, I think the Secret Service almost responded to the incident," David says.

» Their Song: "Our first dance will be [to] 'Everything' by Michael Buble," Erin says.

» Flowers: The bride's colors are blue and white, so her bouquet from Conklyn's in Alexandria will have light blue hydrangeas and white roses.

» The Honeymoon: To be determined, but David's "planning the whole thing" Erin says.

» Stupidest Fight: "Over the rules of Monopoly. She was making things up to try and beat me at a board game," David says.
