Superstars of ... Not So Much

Chris Haston/NBC
"I HAD HIGH HOPES for NBC's new show 'Superstars of Dance,' but it was a disappointment. I turned the TV off before [it] ended."
Atimetodance.wordpress.com thought the show was a letdown, adding, "On the upside, my Monday nights are still free, so I can go to dance class."

» "COMBINING THE IRRELEVANCE of Jay Mariotti with the irrelevance of America Online was a logical step for both parties."
A commenter at Sports.aol.com finds it appropriate that the former Chicago Sun-Times sports columnist is now writing for AOL's Fanhouse blogs.

» "THE OUTFIT'S IN THE MAIL — literally. Via the good ol' catalog. Remember those days before the interwebs, when the only way to shop without leaving the comfort of one's home was through catalog orders?"
DCgoodwillfashions.blogspot.com occasionally goes old-school to buy certain items for her wardrobe.

» "GET TO KNOW A good lawyer. I am so thankful to have learned this at a relatively young age. Whether or not you actually have to go to court, they can provide invaluable legal advice. It's a good weapon to have in your arsenal. And you really never know when you'll need one."
Ladybrettg.blogspot.com is doling out advice in the new year for things she "wishes she knew then."

  • For the most part, I was rather
    disappointed with this show.
Most of the routines were more
    acrobatic than dancing.
    Many used instruments and props.
There were a few great exceptions
such as Reed Luplau of Australia.

  • The Chinese monk dance is a nightmare. That is not the Chinese culture!
