Blok Party: Clif Shot Bloks Fastpack

RUNNERS AND CYCLISTS don't have time to fumble with packaging mid-race. And they can't be expected to think about appropriate portioning, or to digest anything complicated.
Thus, the Clif Shot Bloks Fastpack ($1.99, in eight flavors), a six-pack of electrolyte chews each with 33 calories, was born.
We tested it with the greatest endurance athletes of all: the members of a wedding party.
The ladies weren't too thrilled to eat margarita-flavored squares because of their heavy salt content (good for muscle cramps, not as good for photos), but they scored points for not messing up dresses or makeup. And because you can pop them one-handed, you don't even need to stop putting out place cards.
The fellows, meanwhile, complained about the texture — apparently, they didn't dig the "gummy bear" quality.
But come processional time, everyone's energy level was elevated. Perhaps even too high; They bounded down the aisle a bit more quickly than planned.

Another great quick electrolyte replacement method are enlyten electrolyte strips. They are absorbed through your cheek and gums directly into your blood stream taking effect in just 2 to 5 minutes. Any ingested supplement like this clif shot blok will take 30 minutes or more to take effect. As an avid runner, I use enlyten daily for all my runs. I found them online at http://www.allstrips.com
