B.I.O.: He Said, 'O My, O My'

MUSIC MEANS A LOT to this couple: When they met, Alicia Walker was trying to score a part in a play Ray Watson had written — and he was interested in more than her singing. "His zoned-out, dreamy expression was telling me all he was hearing was 'blah, blah, blah' and violins," she says.
When he took her to see a play at a local church last year, the director called her to the stage, supposedly to thank her for her work in the ministry. But then their song, "When I First Saw You" from "Dreamgirls," started playing and their pictures popped up on the big screen. Ray read her an original poem and then asked her to marry him. "It was so loud with applause and cheers that I couldn't hear her say yes!"
Alicia, 25, and Ray, 27, are both personnel security specialists. They will marry May 23 and will live in Hyattsville.
