Beyond Their Heyday: Hall & Oates

Hall & Oates
SUNDAY: Hall & Oates are making a really weird comeback.

Well, it's not their fault. The internet has hijacked their legacy, with Keyboard Cat suddenly making an appearance in their video for "You Make My Dreams" and Funnyordie.com's new animated series "J-Stache," which is all about John Oates' mustache. It's put the soul duo back in the spotlight, but in the most awkward possible way.

Nonetheless, you know you still get a kick out of Billboard hits like "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)," and Maneater" in all of their synth-pop, saxophone-blaring glory.

Lucky for you, you'll be able to relive their heyday live at Wolf Trap. Let us know if Keyboard Cat shows up.

» Wolf Trap; 1551 Trap Road, Vienna; Sun., Aug. 2, 8 p.m., $25-$42; 703-255-1868.
