As Seen on TV: American Idols Live at D.C.'s Verizon Center

American Idol's Adam Lambert and Kris Allen by Greg Barber/Express
IF YOU WATCHED "American Idol" this year, you know that the TV singing competition came down to a one-on-one between two guys: Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Both brought, as competition judge Randy Jackson might say, mad skills (, dawg,) to the proceedings, but only one could be crowned the winner.

It was Allen. And if you think many of Lambert's fans don't still insist their guy got shafted, just do a Google search or two. Or read the comments that poured in after Express' interview with Allen was published earlier this week. There's passion there. And maybe just a hint of crazy for flavor.

So, one might ask, what happens when you put both men on a stage and let the fans vote with their voices? That's exactly what was on the menu at the American Idols Live show Tuesday night at the Verizon Center.

The shocking results: People, um, kinda like both of them. And for good reason. But there was a lot to enjoy in an evening that drew in an audience from tweens to bluehairs and everything in between.

The Idols stage show is, unsurprisingly, a lot like the "Idol" broadcast — but only if you remove the judges, delete Ryan Seacrest (try not to smile gleefully as you do it), pump up the volume and give the contestants another month's worth of on-stage seasoning. What you get is a show that's not only more vibrant than the TV show, but — for all its obvious and necessary staging — more indicative of the contestants' personalities.

American Idol Season 8 by Greg Barber/Express
Scott MacIntyre — the sight-impaired singer who gave off a dull sheen of bland during the "Idol" competition — actually cracked a successful joke or two, mostly at his own expense (and that of Seacrest, who gaffily attempted to give MacIntyre a high-five during the "Idol" audition round that aired earlier this year).

Roughneck Michael Sarver had more verve live on stage than he did on TV, although he had to almost threaten the audience into standing and clapping along to his songs (sadly, most of them would take a seat again once the big guy's attention was focused elsewhere).

American Idol's Megan Joy and Allison Iraheta by Greg Barber/ExpressNinth-place finisher Megan Joy waited until the second half of her two-song set — a reasonable attempt at Amy Winehouse's "Tears Dry on Their Own" — to unleash her famous butt-wriggling dance-like thingie. She was just as pretty in person as on the small screen — almost Barbie-like, if you ignore the tats — but she came off more icily than she had on "Idol."

Soulful Lil Rounds seems to have loosened up since she left the "Idol" airwaves, bringing poise to her routine, which included a rollicking version of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and a touch of choreography from, she was quite pleased to tell us, the guy who helped Beyonce develop her moves for the song's video.

The most surprising performances came from two of the contestants I'd looked forward to seeing the least: MacIntyre, whose "Idol" catalogue was the sonic equivalent of watching software download, and Matt Giraud, whose previous repertoire consisted mostly of songs he couldn't sing.

Their sets Tuesday night were phenomenal. MacIntyre's voice fit both of his immaculately chosen songs — "Bend and Break" by Keane and "1,000 Miles" by Vanessa Carlton" — like a glove. Meanwhile, a faux-hawk-bedecked Giraud livened up his act with snappy patter (which sometimes veered toward both cheesy and grating, which seems oddly appropriate) and an innate knack for connecting with the audience.

American Idol's Matt Giraud by Greg Barber/ExpressBoth are also stellar piano players, a skill they demonstrated with gusto on a dueling-pianos version of Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It."

The most disappointing turn — but only briefly — was teenage rocker Allison Iraheta's set, which started with a lackluster version of Pink's "So What." Iraheta strummed a guitar in addition to singing and the combination proved deadly for her concentration (how one can get lost in lyrics like "nanana na na na na," I can't explain).

She recovered nicely, though, with scorching slices through Janis Joplin's "Cry Baby" and Heart's chick-rocker "Barracuda."

Aaaaaand representing the status quo were Anoop Desai and Danny Gokey. Desai's voice fills a room, don't get me wrong, but twinges of that old college a-capella insincerity that deep-sixed his "Idol" run soured his live show, too.

Except for a rollicking version of Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative." Desai's much more palatable, apparently, when he's uptempo.

Gokey's tunes — which included Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T." and Santana's "Maria Maria" — were upbeat, but uninteresting.

American Idol winner Kris Allen by Greg Barber/Express

The biggest crowd-pleasers of the night, though, were Lambert and Allen. Which was no surprise, since the crowd was so amped for their arrival that they would break into ear-piercing shrieks whenever their names were mentioned or their faces were shown on the stage's large screens.

Lambert seemed most skilled at holding the audience in the palm of his hand. People stood in rapt attention as he reprised his hypnotic take on Tears For Fears's "Mad World" and bopped during an expert mini-medley of David Bowie's "Fame" and "Let's Dance." During which he slinkily stripped off his shirt jacket, revealing a sleeveless top underneath. And prompting more screams.

Allen kept his clothes on — a straight-outta-"Idol" wardrobe of a flannel shirt and skinny jeans — and the audience rapt as he pounded out tunes like "Heartless" and "Ain't No Sunshine" before joining his fellow Idolites for "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.

So, who was the crowd favorite? The audience's treble was loudest for Lambert, but from where this reviewer sat, both his and Allen's performances seemed to excite fans in equal measure.

Would calling it a draw be too much of a neatly tied-up cop-out? Probably. Just like on TV.

  • In every other city even in the south thus fa,r Adam Lambert was overwhelmingly favored by fans and critics alike. Apparently, in some cities 10 to 15 percent of some of the audiences left after Adam's set. CW said that Lambert would do even better on the coasts. Surprising that Washington DC found them equally engaging? Go figure.

  • Besides the obvious crowd pleasing performances of Adam and Kris, I am happy Matt is getting rave reviews from almost everyone who have attended the tour this season. I always felt he had mad talent. Glad he is getting respect now.

  • Quote: There's passion there. And maybe just a hint of crazy for flavor.

That's an understatement if I've ever seen one. The Glamberts are an insane bunch and they will descend on this review in 3...2...1 to proclaim Adam the winner in this and every show except Little Rock.

Whatever, I'm an Adam Lambert fan but I'm no Glambert and I can applaud the success of Kris Allen while also maintaining my fanhood for Adam. They both deserved to win and Adam is SURELY not suffering from not capturing the Idol crown. I think this is a solid and favorable review. I am glad that someone has finally called Danny Gokey out as bland, because boy is he ever. I see not why he doesn't have a record career. When I saw the Idols in Memphis I found Danny to be a bit awkward on stage, it made me uncomfortable.

Really looking forward to career turns of Adam, Allison and Matt. I will line up to see any of them in concert and buy their albums!

  • Spoken like a true politician coming from DC. If the audience's treble was loudest for Lambert, then, doen't that make him the favorite. Well, he has been the favorite throughout the tour so far, other than Arkansas. Believe me, I'm a Kris' fan as well as Adam's, but you as a journalist, should tell it like it is, not how you wanted it be. There are people who are looking/listening through your eyes/words. And if you can't be objective, then perhaps this job isn't meant for you.

    By Cindy , Posted August 5, 2009 1:46 AM
  • Respect for Kris, very nice person, but.....Adam is a very nice person who is also a super star in the making. I saw them in Arizona and Adam is in a class of his own, First Class!

    By cayman , Posted August 5, 2009 1:59 AM
  • The Washington Post is a notoriously conservative rag. They are hell bent on elevating Kris at the expense of Adam. I like Kris but to say he is in the same league as Adam is BS no matter how you try to spin it. This rag has an agenda and it does include being objective. I expected nothing else.

    By Jay , Posted August 5, 2009 2:14 AM
  • Sorry, before you could write this we had reports from fans at the venue. There was also a live feed. The live feed is not good but we can hear volume. It is not true that Kris had anywhere near the applause that Adam had. The word excite and Kris can never be said in the same sentence. The only time Kris' set is exciting is when Adam comes back on stage for "Hey Jude", the response to his entrance is what you must have heard. The producers also have Adam join Kris on the lift at the end so it is not obvious that Adam's fan reaction is greater. Some people want to write an honest review, some people choose to annoy people, you chose the latter.

    By Darcey , Posted August 5, 2009 2:16 AM
  • Hi, just wanted to correct an error in your article. You stated that Adam Lambert stripped off his shirt, but that is incorrect. He took off his long-sleeved, leather studded and tailed jacket during the final Bowie Medley number with all the dancing. However he kept on the sleeveless shirt and vest that he wore underneath. Heh, you make it sound like he's a stripper -- it's not like that at all.

    By Mel , Posted August 5, 2009 2:50 AM
  • I'm a huge, head-over-heels Adam fan and I adore Kris (and Allison) as well. Those three are really something special, vocally and in terms of their musicality.

Ignore the people who hate Kris for winning or Adam for getting so much attention. Those people are immature trolls. Seriously, you guys, aren't most of you adults? My friends and I are in college and we would never behave so stupidly and childishly as to anonymously post nasty comments about an entertainer on a website. Grow up. And, Adam and Kris are both clearly very nice people. Even if you don't like one of them musically or think that Adam doesn't deserve the attention or that Kris shouldn't have won, they are nice people and they don't deserve your nastiness. Again, grow up.

    Thanks for the review. :)

    By Melissa , Posted August 5, 2009 2:51 AM
  • Seriously, anyone still freaking out over how the competition turned out--either Kris winning or Adam getting all this attention--is an idiot and not worth bothering with.

Fortunately, as Kris and Adam have both said, they share many fans, and the crazies in each group appear to be relatively limited in number.

    By Melissa , Posted August 5, 2009 2:53 AM
  • Wow, did Kris get them so excited they threw undies at him? How can you compare this nice little man to a six foot one sex god, that can sing like no other? Kris's win on Idol is so yesterday, the new hot thing in entertainment is Adam Lambert.

    By Robert , Posted August 5, 2009 2:57 AM
  • Oh for the love of God can some of you people get over yourselves. Some of you are so freaking bitter over everything and you can't handle it one freaking bit when a reviewer any reviewer says ONE NICE thing about Kris. It always has to be Adam is God, Adam is this and that. i adore Adam, I am a fan of Both Adam & Kris and voted for them all season. I am though not a bitter Glambert that has to totally criticize Kris on every freaking thing. i went to one of the shows in CA. and yes the crowd went bonkers for Adam but they did so for Kris also. I also can tell you that not all people were sitting for Kris and there was plenty of sitting for Adam also. All the idols had people sitting down. At my concert Adam noticed the sitting during his set and told the crowd he didn't want to see anybody sitting. Many got up but many still sat. To be at a concert you shouldn't have to stand to show you are a fan. Some people have problems standing for a long time and shouldn't be looked at as people showing they don't like someone. Total BS to say.

PS. Whoever said the glamberts would be here quicky you were right. I am shocked out how accurate you are.

  • HEY PAPA BEAR!!!!

    By SHOUTOUT , Posted August 5, 2009 3:04 AM
  • Anoop Desai is one of the MOST SINCERE performers in the group. His voice is filled with emotion and passion when he sings and it translates well with the audience. His rendition of Always on My Mind often moves me to tears. His sincerity shines through in each performance. Far from status quo!

    By Anne , Posted August 5, 2009 3:07 AM
  • Can i just say that appreciate the Adam fans that can also appreciate Kris as well? I don't see how tearing one person down elevates their own idol's status.

They are both totally different entertainers and I enjoyed them both as well!

    By Irene , Posted August 5, 2009 3:08 AM
  • Oh wonderful, the Glamberts are here to defend and elevate someone who needs no such machinations.

I love Adam to death and consider myself a huuuuge fan. But there is no way I would ever want to be associated with Glamberts (or Lambskanks, for that matter).

Kris is a different type of performer. He gets a different type of reaction. It's not less or greater than Adam's; just different.

And he has had underwear thrown at him. But then, they were personalized/bedazzled boxers (which I think is awesome). Personally, I prefer Kris' low-key fanatical fans to Adam's multitudinous cougars.

    By Jennilee , Posted August 5, 2009 3:13 AM
  • "Wow, did Kris get them so excited they threw undies at him?"

Dude, Adam is by far my favorite, but it's not like undie-throwing is the only measure of excitement. I was completely entranced by Adam's set, but I can really enjoy Kris's chiller music as well. People throw undies during a Rolling Stones concert, but probably not during a Bob Dylan concert. Doesn't make one automatically inferior.

People, chill. The contest is over. Kris won, so stop begrudging Adam his attention, and Adam is getting a ton of attention, so stop begrudging Kris his win. Be mature.

    By melissa , Posted August 5, 2009 3:17 AM
  • Does this reporter have anything nice to say?! I saw them live in Sacramento and it was INCREDIBLE! All of them poured their souls into this production.

    By Janice D , Posted August 5, 2009 3:19 AM
  • Kudos to Adam, he's been sick as hell this week with flu symptoms, his voice is hoarse, he probably feels like sh!t...and yet he gives 150%.

Shoutout to Kris, Allison and Matt. Hell, shoutout to everyone. They all put a lot of energy into this. All the best guys.

    By Lights , Posted August 5, 2009 3:20 AM
  • One thing most of you all are forgetting is that this is no longer a competition. What does it matter about whose fans could scream the loudest? The show is over, and Allen is the winner. There's no more voting or speculation, you guys. Comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges - they each have their own specific taste. Why must you compare the two? I'm personally a bigger fan of Allen's, simply because I admire his musicianship and the way he cares for his fans. But all of that is besides the point - the competition is over. Let me put this politely. Some of you just need to get over the fact that Kris won, and accept the fact that they will both be superstars. If you keep comparing the two forever, you're going to give yourselves wrinkles, darlings. :)

  • Cindy. Use a dictionary. Treble is not synonymous with volume.

    By FakeMaleName , Posted August 5, 2009 4:06 AM
  • i am addicted to Adam's singing and performances, a glambert, and yet have always really liked Kris Allen very much as well. I have double the fun, because both their styles are great and I love the variety. Allison and Matt are also singers that I like a lot. These four make a great variety, but Adam Lambert can probably do that on his own since he is amazingly creative and such an outstanding ability to sing any genre. And kudos again to Kris Allen and his personal style stage performance. I am a glamvert who supports Kris too.lots of us do.

    By ianaleah , Posted August 5, 2009 4:25 AM
  • So someone throws a bra or two at adam, well how original and obviously that is the measure of ability to entertain. As far as Kris's win on Idol being so yesterday, well it is a pity so many of the bitter Glamberts cant remember that.

    By Jo , Posted August 5, 2009 5:50 AM
  • Also: Greg, I always enjoyed your take on Adam and Kris (and Allison) during the season and probably agreed with you about 70% of the time, so I'd be interested in hearing more about your opinions of their sets, their futures, etc., if you care to elaborate.

    By Melisssa , Posted August 5, 2009 6:14 AM
  • KATHY K, actually, it is this reviewer who clearly found them equal or is probably a Kris fan who can't give all the praise to Adam. Either that or they were elsewhere or performed the age-old reviewer's trick of reviewing a show you haven't even seen.

I was there and the welcome and response for Adam almost gave me a migraine. It was nothing like that for Kris and in fact a lot of the audience (more than 10-15%) left either at the start of or during his set. I was in the fifth row and would have felt rude getting up. I don't know how people can do it if you are within eyeshot of the artist. Besides, he was pleasant enough and though he was far from my favourite on the show (probably 7th in my opinion), I was glad I saw him and stayed.

That doesn't negate the overwhelming response for Adam (my fourth favourite).

    By Callie , Posted August 5, 2009 6:15 AM
  • We fans should be over the comparisons and rankings by now, it really does make us look ridiculous. Adam has worked his whole life for the success he's getting, he deserves it and will have my support always. He's going to be a huge huge star.

    By wtdp , Posted August 5, 2009 6:32 AM
  • I'm so glad to see Adam and Kris fans coming together for mutual admiration. They are 2 different kinds of artists. I'm a big Adam fan, but I loved many of Kris's performances on Idol and have bought his music on I-tunes as well as Adam's. They are both talented, very good friends and have mutual admiration and respect for each other. Their fans should too. I have seen no bad reviews for Kris. He is giving it his all on stage, and to bash him is like, well like kicking a puppy.

    By Robin , Posted August 5, 2009 6:42 AM
  • Nice to see the Glambert trolls out as usual - can't you all just accept that there are people who enjoy Kris and don't think Adam is the ned all and be all of the world? Fans like you are likely to cause Adam lots of trouble in the future - get over yourselves already

    By Ali , Posted August 5, 2009 6:48 AM
  • " if you think many of Lambert's fans don't still insist their guy got shafted, just do a Google search or two. Or read the comments that poured in after Express' interview with Allen was published earlier this week. There's passion there. And maybe just a hint of crazy for flavor. "

Seriously? The vast majority of Adam's fans stopped giving a rats' about the result a long time ago. It's obvious that the result has not made the blindest bit of difference. Adam is evidently (from anywhere you care to look) the vastly more popular and the one with the far better prospects, long and short-term. Congratulations Kris and well done to his limited number of fans but did they genuinely believe that people were going to change their minds overnight if Kris won? That the management, record company and industry in general were going to suddenly see that Adam is not the superstar in the making but Kris.

Unfortunately, it's Kris' fans who are waking up to this reality now, don't like it and feel that some sort of injustice is being done. The vast majority of them are reasonable enough to realise that as the saying goes, "You can take a horse to the river but you can't make it drink" but others have to vent their frustration, some more cleverly and more veiled than others.

What a cheap shot to call Adam's fans crazy simply because they were pointing out in their comments your cheap shots in the interview. Firstly, that you suggested that Adam was getting the press simply because of his make-up and sexuality. Nothing to do with his outrageous talent and bucketloads of charisma. No, just his make-up and sexuality. Surprise, surprise then that you should try to suggest that the reaction for Kris at the show was anywhere near that for Adam. Heck, I'm surprised you didn't try to suggest that the reaction for Kris was louder and more enthusiastic. Secondly, that as there was nothing else of relevance to Adam in the interview, why mention him and mention him just to detract? Clearly just to get the internet hits that you, yourself, has just stated that he generates.

If that's crazy, I'll take crazy, thank you.

    By Phoebe , Posted August 5, 2009 6:54 AM
  • Thank you, Mr. Barber, for a very nice well written review. Kris' fans are a more laid back bunch. Just because they don't hold planned in advance scream-a-thons, doesn't make them any less passionate.
The same Glamberts spam the same made up stories at every site on the internet, so don't feel too special that they have descended on your article.

    By amy , Posted August 5, 2009 7:02 AM
  • I was at the show last night, the idols were all good, but Adam clearly ruled on that stage. He was fantastic. Definitely worth going to see him.

    By Cindy , Posted August 5, 2009 7:03 AM
  • Count me as another huge Adam fan (and college student) who really likes Kris as well and was cheering madly for both of them (And Allison, the other one I love) when I saw the show. And looking at these comments, there seem to be quite a few of those.

I could be wrong, but the crazies seem relatively few and far between--it's just the same few people posting on every article on the internet. Unfortunately, there will always be some crazy fans, but every famous person has to deal with that--I don't think these guys are unusual in that sense. I see absurdly bitter comments from angry Adam fans and nastily homophobic comments from angry Kris fans on most of the articles I look at involving these two, but obviously most fans aren't like that.

And I really didn't see any fanwarring when I saw the show in LA. In fact, I sat next to a group of five teenage girls, two of whom were wearing Adam shirts, two of whom were wearing Kris shirts, and one of whom was wearing a Kradam shirt. There's a lot of love in the real world--it's mainly the internet that invites the crazies out to play.

    By Jackie , Posted August 5, 2009 7:10 AM
  • For Pete's sake, guys. Are we going to start fighting again? I am a huge Adam fan and his album is the only one I will be purchasing, but I don't dislike Kris.

My God, every article like this people compare these two. They are different type of performers. And I don't understand why people would get mad when the journalist says that Kris was well received. What's wrong with that? Can't people clap for him?

Goodness can't we all just get along? Adam and Kris are great friends and we should follow their example. I am very sure they will both be successful in whichever direction they choose to go.

Kris is not my type of music but I wish him all the best.

So let's have peace here guys! :)

    By arby , Posted August 5, 2009 7:24 AM
  • Every single Adam fan I know personally at my school at least likes Kris as a person and would never say mean things about him, and many like him as a singer/musician as well. The same is true of the Kris fans I know and Adam. Most fans get along--haven't Kris and Adam even said that they like that they share a lot of fans? The impression I got during the season was that many people who were fans of Kris primarily were also fans of Adam and Allison and that many people who were fans of Adam primarily were also fans of Kris and Allison. So, Kradison ftw.

And whatevs, people. Even if you're not a fan of all three, at least as people, being a douche online because Kris won or because Adam's getting a ton of attention is so beyond pointless.

And Kris and Adam neither notice nor care.

    By again , Posted August 5, 2009 7:30 AM
  • The concert was awesome! Adam, was, OMG, so freaking amazing! I have a severe sore throat from screaming! He really really exceeded my expectations. And the TV doesn't do his voice justice. He sounds 1000x better live (if that's even possible).

The other one I enjoyed was Matt. He really surprised and seriously, are people blind to see his talent? GIVE HIM A RECORD DEAL NOW.

I didn't care for Danny, but I was kind of disappointed with Allison (just my opinion). Something about her voice sounded off. I loved Barracuda though.

The others were pretty much ok. But I enjoyed Adam (ofcourse) and also Matt.

    By brenda , Posted August 5, 2009 7:35 AM
  • We are not blind and we are not deaf, so not sure who are you trying to fool with your review.

    By jackie , Posted August 5, 2009 7:43 AM
  • 10 to 15% of the crowd didn't leave during Kris' set, and if they did so what, it's no refection on him. The people who left were more upset that Kris won AI, and had no intention of sticking around for his set or supporting someone who they felt didn't deserve to win. Their leaving said more about them, than anything about Kris. As does their insistence to keep making this a competition, common sense, and the sales of Kris and Adam's itunes and NB tracks, should tell anyone that they both have fans and supporters. What in the heck is wrong with that? The scream-o-meter makes no sense, especially since the screams are less for Adam Lambert, and more about a group of people wanting everyone to know that they think Kris Allen didn't deserve to win. The screams just like trolling websites to leave anti Kris comments, and to flood every single internet poll, are pre-planned, disingenious, and pointless. Maybe that the little bit crazy that was referred to in the article.

    By Coral , Posted August 5, 2009 7:44 AM
  • It's silly really. All anyone has to do is go on Youtube or some other video hosting sites and it is clear to even the hard of hearing that Adam gets the far louder reception and the loudest applause. That's not down to people shouting louder (unless some are suggesting that their fans take after the guys themselves and, therefore, Adam's fans have louder voices), it is down to their just being far more people cheering for Adam. The one marked difference was Arkansas. It's not a detraction to Kris, it is a matter of fact, there for all to hear.

I have watched the performances on Youtube of almost all of them (my personal favourite being Danny).

I'm not a fan of either of them but good luck to the pair of them.

    By Frankie , Posted August 5, 2009 7:54 AM
  • You must have seen a different show than I did, Danny Gokey is AMAZING!

    By Darla , Posted August 5, 2009 7:58 AM
  • Oh my goodness, Glamberts let it go. The funny thing is that all the stuff you all are doing and saying isn't new. Last year, people said the same things about David A. getting more screams than David Cook, about people only wanting David A.'s autograph, that David A. would be bigger etc. Frankly, this foolishness happens every year. And it is stupid and pointless every year. There's probably a more productive way of spending your time than acting out because of a tv show.

All the contestants are talented, and all can find success if they work hard enough, regardless if that's making radio friendly music or performing on stage.

    By Ella , Posted August 5, 2009 8:01 AM
  • A majority of Adam and Kris fans are well mannered and respect each other. It's just a tiny percentage of crazies in each fanbase that gives their idol a bad name.

    By Rachel , Posted August 5, 2009 8:02 AM
  • I have no idea where you were sitting, but from my vantage point there were more people standing during Danny's set then Kris'. People left during Kris. I think Danny is a wonderful stage presence, not boring or uninteresting. Kris was tiny on stage and if I hadn't been waiting for the idols I too would have left.

    By connie , Posted August 5, 2009 8:13 AM
  • God, we're not all freaking Glamberts or whatever you call them. Adam is simply in a class all his own. But hey, if it makes the fans of Allen feel better go right on yelling "Glambert" every time someone disagrees that your midget shouldn't have won the darn competition!

    By Mikey , Posted August 5, 2009 8:28 AM
  • Why c an't the Adamfans express their opinions without people jumping on them for it? It's most the Krisfans who are defensive messes IMO. They seem totally insecure in his win and feel the need to malign the Adam fans for some reason.

I'm sure it was pretty evenly split between Kris and Adam and the reason for that is there is a huge overlap in the fandoms. There are some Kris fans who absolutely HATE Adam just like there are Adam fans who are meh on Kris. The difference being the worst you'll hear an Adam fan say about Kris is that he's boring and not their musical taste.

Adam gets some pretty nasty things said about him however.

It's not unreasonable for fans to want their favorite to get what they seem as proper recognition, however, the personal attacks on Adam and on his fans have gone beyond the pale IMO.

    By sammy , Posted August 5, 2009 8:35 AM
  • Adam outsings and outperforms Kris at every concert. News reports and concert goers backs this up.

  • Adam Lamberts fans are an army of one man and they are going at full force. if you can't get your fact straight then do right this article!

    By lisargon , Posted August 5, 2009 9:22 AM
  • I happen to be a Glambert who loves most of the Idols but particularly Allison, Kris and Matt as well as Adam. (Lil and Michael moved up a notch as well after seeing them in concert) I really enjoyed the whole show and thought they ALL had something to bring and enjoy.

It seems to me that the only people who are still comparing the top two and bringing up the "who should have won" debate are reviewers, interviewers, bloggers and non-Adam fans looking to stir the pot. If YOU let it then it will go away because when it's all said and done, Adam got exactly what was best for him and IT DOESN"T MATTER.

I don't know where these "crazy Glamberts" hang out but none of MY internet cohorts talk bad about the others and in fact support many of them. Adam projects love, kindness, enjoyment of life and a positive perspective..and so should his fans.

Good luck to ALL the "Idols" and FFS would someone give Matty G a record contract already!!

    By Chica , Posted August 5, 2009 9:28 AM
  • I think the reviewer acknowledged that Adam is more popular then Kris. He said Lambert got the loudest screams, and that he was able to captivate the audience more... then he adds:

"Would calling it a draw be too much of a neatly tied-up cop-out? Probably. Just like on TV."

  • I attended the DC concert last night. When Danny's set had finished and the stage lights had darkened, it appeared that EVERYONE in Verizon Center stood up in anticipation of Adam, and remained standing throughout his entire set. When Adam began Bowie's "Let's Dance," he didn't have to exhort the crowd to stand up -- they already were! I, a scientist, can objectively attest that the screaming was definitely louder for Adam -- the DC metro area showed who its favorite was. Kris followed with a strong performance that the crowd also appreciated and for which many of the crowd remained standing. Adam and Kris are both good guys all around. Alison was strong too, and so was Matt.

  • MATT IS AMAZING!!! Why does he not have a freaking record deal yet!! Every single review everyone is blown away by him. It's a sad day when someone with that much talent doesn't get a record deal. SIGN MATT G!!!

  • American Idol Live (a/k/a The Adam Lambert Show) rocked DC last night. All performers really worked hard to put on a great show and to give us good value for our money. Say what you want about Adam, good or bad, but the guy is an awesome performer. I would buy Kris' CD over Adam's, but I would go to Adam's concert over Kris'. They're both huge talents in their own rights and I'm glad I had an opportunity to see them live early in their careers. I actually kind of felt bad last night because I used to make fun of Scott last season, but he really stood out last night (in a good way) as a star performer.

By Straight Guy , Posted August 5, 2009 10:10 AM
  • Even though my favorites are Kris and Michael. I love all of them. Great concert. Kris Allen is so cute and love his singing and Michael Sarver is a great guy and singer.

I like them all and good luck on tour.

By I Love Kris and Michael , Posted August 5, 2009 10:16 AM
  • There are several points of this artical that I must disagree with. First is the already debated matter of Adam's vs. Kris's popularity. I like them both but I Adam will always be the bigger star. If his cheers were louder, it stands to reason that he is the more popular choice. Kris's fans may have voted more but they are clearly lower in numbers.
Also, I saw the Idols in Dallas, TX, and Megan Joy never once did her "butt-wriggling dance-like thingie," as you put it. She seemed to have gained a much better stage prescence and was never icy. I think your dislike for her quirky, current style overshadowed her actual performance.
I am also apalled that Allison's performance could at all be considered disappointing. I thought she really got the audience pumped and that she performed songs (and performed them well) that perfectly fit her strengths.

    By Madison , Posted August 5, 2009 10:48 AM
  • My first concert at Verizon Center - and last - sound pretty bad. First six idols - standout was Matt by far. Scott surprisingly good and Anoop pleasant, but that's about it. Other four - Allison's set pretty much of a mess - band far too loud - voice muffled - amateurish stage presence. Danny's voice excellent - got great reaction from crowd. Adam terrific as usual and Kris also put on a good show (like the contrast). If you're into screaming contests, Adam and David Cook got biggest noise from crowd when shown on big board. Some people left after Adam - but no huge numbers. (Hard even to tell because so many people constantly walking up and down aisles and stairs lugging food - can't people go three hours without eating?) Looking forward to Adam's and Kris's albums - maybe even Danny and Matt. Allison's ? - wait and see on that one.

  • I am just kind of tired of people calling adam fans "bitter". Why are we bitter? Because Adam is an idol favorite? Because he has a great record deal? Because he has other great offers in the making? Because he gets great reviews? Because he is getting worldwide recognition? etc. Bitter? I think not. I do think that for the same questions I mentioned above, that it is the fans of others that are the bitter ones and somehow want to spin it.

  • I was at the DC show last night..and let me tell you it is a totally different experience watching Adam Lambert live than on youtube videos. I was shaking while holding the binoculars because I was so overwhelmed with being in the same room with him and listening to the birth of the superstar. The only bad thing for me was that the idols did not come out to sign afterwards, and I was devastated and so was my 10 year old daughter. My daughter has not shown any interest in boys at her 10 young years of life and when Adam was singing Starlight I heard her yelll "adam will you marry me"..I couldnt help but just stare and smile at her. It is her first celebrity crush and for obvious reasons totally not attainable. Oh well I will have the most amazing memories of last night and sharing them with my daughter and watching her passion for Adam was priceless and heartwarming. We are both still in a daze thinking of Adam from last night...I hope this feeling never goes away and will be remembered always !!!

  • If the reviewers said that he enjoyed Kris' s music more than Adam, It's acceptable. People have different taste in music.
BUT saying Adam and Kris got equal reaction from the audience is unacceptable because it's a lie.
Giving false info to your readers is a big crime.

  • Someone posted that Adam Lambert is sick. I thought he looked exhausted during an interview he gave. I think AI needs to treat their talent better. This schedule there on is inhuman. I will be going to the concert in Michigan at Auburn Hills . I'm so excited to see Adam perform, and your right, I 'm glad Ryan Seacrest won't be there. I think that huge, disgusting pay raise they gave him has alot to do with the fact that Paula Abdul won't be coming back to AI. I think it is a huge mistake To choose the rude one over the talented kind one. I will not watch this show anymore if she does not come back. I am tired of rude people who will do anything for ratings.

  • I live on the opposite side of this world!! In Hong Kong!! I can tell you that the people here are CRAZY for Adam Lambert!! Doesn't that say something!! ADAM IS A GOD SEND!!!! He's a music ICON!

  • Many people love both Adam and Kris, like Batman and his little sidekick Robin. All of the bickering about who should have won is yesterday's news. Adam is the man of the day. His voice is being compared by people in the music industry to Freddie Mercury, Jeff Buckley and Matthew Bellamy. Adam has the pipes. Anyone who disputes this just does not know a damn thing about vocals. Not only can Adam sing, he is an actor that does not just sing a song but performs it, by creating different moods for different lyrics, he is a superb storyteller. It is no wonder that the top Hollywood producers are taking an interest in him. The tour has proven that Adam is the talent of the season by the fan response. Ask the people selling the merchandise, Adam out sells all of the others put together. It does not matter who won, look forward, I mean even even the writer of this article, who childishly tried to provoke Adam's fans needs to get over it. There is no doubt that Adam is heading for the rank of the legends and it is just plain silly to compare Batman to Robin.

  • "Would calling it a draw be too much of a neatly tied-up cop-out? Probably. Just like on TV."

Mr. Barber, you admit you copped out of giving your true analysis.

"The audience's treble was loudest for Adam." So on what basis, Mr. Barber, did you find Chris' excitement equal that for Adam? You didn't say.

    By Rebe , Posted August 5, 2009 12:07 PM
  • It seems to me the 'bitter' tag can be applied in equal measure to the kris allen fan base. I've seen them flock to every negative or less than glowing review of kris and trash the reviewer and every word they wrote, especially the favorable comments about Adam. So why are you people pretending that this is solely on the Adam Lambert fans?
Watching all this from here in the UK is rather interesting. I can tell you that Adam has a far larger fan base here than any other idol and these fans can't wait for him to cross the pond - 2nd would be Matt. They are staying up all night to listen to horrible cellcasts just to hear Adams set.
Wouldn't it be nice if both, or all idol fan bases for that matter, celebrated their particular favorite and stopped this incessant squabbling and trashing of the others. Reviewers have the right to express their opinions, not just the facts, and everyone should take it with a grain of salt. If you don't like it, post a favorable comment and move on

  • Took my teenage daughter to a Rickey Martin concert and also a Backstreet Boys concert some years back. The screams were deafening. Two years later she said she wouldn't be caught dead at their concerts. Who gets the loudest screams is really not a measure of lasting popularity, and it isn't a measure of talent, either, obviously.
I think David Cassidy used to get his hair torn out by crazy fans, and they screamed for Bobby Sherman, too, remember him? Great, great star, today, right?

    By bradd , Posted August 5, 2009 12:55 PM
  • Bradd: Yes, screams are only an indicator of their popularity at the time, but you obviously don't know the history behind Bobby Sherman. He was a smart business man and invested his earnings from "Here Come the Brides" and became very wealthy. He then retired and never returned to acting or singing. He was extremely popular at the time but chose to leave that part of life.

    By Jo , Posted August 5, 2009 1:13 PM
  • So tired of the bitter Kris fans..
Your guy "won" so get over it.

We heard the live cellcasts last night, and almost every night so far of this tour - so we know the truth of who the audience was there to see - and they weren't there to see Mr. What's His Name, the King of Arkansas - that's for sure.

By Tired of Nonsense , Posted August 5, 2009 1:21 PM
  • Adam Lambert was born to perform. He has abilities that no other contemporary has. I predict he will be an iconic superstar in the years to come. CD sales and sold out concerts will tell the future story.
    P.S. Matt is underestimated IMO.

    By Starlight , Posted August 5, 2009 1:23 PM
  • Let's put that in perspective, Bradd. No one claimed David Cassidy or Bobby Sherman could be the next Elvis- just the next teen idol, which never lasts.
Adam is not just some teen idol and no one laughs when it is said we could be witnessing the beginning of the next Elvis or Michael J.
We'll just have to wait and see what the future holds.
As for now, he is the biggest draw.

    By rebe , Posted August 5, 2009 1:25 PM
  • Actually, Adam Lambert is already a phenomenon. It's already happened. He's been discovered. He' here. :-)

    By Rebe , Posted August 5, 2009 1:36 PM
  • You hit the nail on the head with this review for the most part. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance by Scott MacIntyre. How do they teach him the dance moves? He was right in there during Beggin. I am not sure if I loved Adam so much because of the amount of adult beverages I had previously, but I was on my feet. I didn't even vote for him. I didn't vote for Kris either, but I also enjoyed his set. I think it is so cool that they sing and enjoy music that was popular before they were born. KUDOS. You called it on the status quo thing... Danny and Anoop were aiiiiggghhht. Anoop is the only person on the tour that I ended up liking less after the concert. As far as Matt goes, someone should have already signed him. He seems like the sensitive type so I hope he is able to take his time and energy (maybe even frustration) out on making a quality album.

  • I was at the concert last night with my husband and 11 year old daughter, and have to say that Matt and Scott's dueling piano song was surprisingly fun, but agree with the reviewer that anytime Adam's picture (or any part of him mixed up with the Ford video) came on the screen, the crowd went nuts. We had great seats, so we didn't have to stand to see, but stood for Adam's entire set, as did everyone within eyesight. Kris was more mellow, making it harder to follow Adam, but was surprisingly fun to listen to. I am a die-hard Adam fan, but smiled when Kris put his arm around Adam as they left the stage in the end. Megan was horrible, and Danny's speech about his wife dying a month before Idol, and how you shouldn't let tragedy stand in the way of your dreams, got everyone groaning and booing in our section. (It came across as if his dream was being on Idol, and he wasn't going to let his wife's death crush that dream.) My husband described the experience last night as a Queen concert (Adam) in the middle of a gospel revival show!

    By suzie , Posted August 5, 2009 1:43 PM
  • America is a conservative country. but they do enjoy being entertained. Americans knew Adam is gay are not about to let a known gay be American Idol, but, they will go, in droves, to see him perform.
Kriss? Cute, sincere, Christian, obscurity beckons.

    By Rdean , Posted August 5, 2009 1:45 PM
  • I love both Adam and Kris. I voted for Adam, but if Adam wasn't in the top 2, I would have voted for Kris. So, I can honestly appreciate both as artists, and it really is a preference of music. I also think people will buy both of them, because Adam brings you up, and Kris calms you down. Such a sweet mix. Kris is a gifted songwriter, and his heart felt messages will pierce our hearts. Adam is the sexiest thing that has graced our planet, and he doesn't even have to move. The voice is unforgettable. His music may be censored, but that's okay, many artists do two versions. And as far as looks are concerned both Adam and Kris are HOT equally. I look at them together, and it's like...they're the best looking male idols we have ever had...maybe even out there period. It's like Justin Timberlake who? We're in for a real treat.

    By Sue , Posted August 5, 2009 1:46 PM
  • Suzie, I've read many, many message board posts - but, yours is the best ever!

Your husband sums it up so humorously and accurately, that I hope his quote makes other boards...

    Suzies' Quote below:
"My husband described the experience last night as a Queen concert (Adam) in the middle of a gospel revival show!"

    Oh, Suzie, I love it!
Your husband was able to put into words what so many of us have been thinking, but didn't know how to describe!

They really are both gorgeous men. I do love their singing, obviously, but it doesn't hurt that they are so delightful to look at.

I like seeing all the "I'm a huge Adam fan but I love Kris too" or "I'm a huge Kris fan but I love Adam too." These guys really do share a lot of fans.

    By Claire , Posted August 5, 2009 3:16 PM
  • To Denise..I beg your pardon??? You rag on Glamberts and lump them all together in respect to their behavior. Aren't you high and mighty? Glamberts are NOT all the same. If you antagonize and pick a scab, you can always find a fight. To post this type of opinion just begs for someone to slam you right back. Why do you do this? Need attention or something? Some of us Glamberts are grandmothers and voices of reason. STOP trying to incite further fan wars with such a crappy attitude would you? I am PROUD to be a Glambert, and witness to Adam's rise to fame from the beginning of the season. If you cant say something nice and must be derogatory, please just don't open your mouth. You are offensive to those of us who are genteel, and calm. Glamberts may be a vocal fanbase, but one thing we all have in common is our love for Adam Lambert. Criticize all you want, you are the smaller person for it.
Sick of instigators fueling unwarranted fires.

    By Alison , Posted August 5, 2009 4:08 PM
  • @Kathy K.
Some people leave before the end of a concert all the time to beat traffic or to get to the barricades first. And if there are people leaving because they think Adam is done, then they're missing him coming out at the end of "Hey Jude" and for DSB and it serves them right.

    By Molly W. , Posted August 5, 2009 4:29 PM
  • I am another Adam fan who also loves Kris Allen. People need to get over the fan wars, they are sickening and just make Adam's fans look ridiculous. I saw the show in Charlotte, NC and both Adam and Kris were absolutely wonderful. Plus you can't help but love Kris because he's such a good friend to Adam and a real class act. And comparing them is just silly. They have totally different styles. People aren't going to throw panties at someone singing Hey Jude, it's not that type of song. It doesn't mean they're not entertaining or talented. I absolutely adored both Adam and Kris' set, in different ways. They are both going to be superstars.

    By Kate , Posted August 5, 2009 4:32 PM

Let it go. No one cares who got the most screams but you.

    Love,
A sane Adam (and Kris) fan.

  • It is funny you all are criticizing the glamberts and Adam and don't expect them to fire back. Just stop criticizing anyone and see if that changes things. Adam has had a lot of harsh things said about him, so it does bring out the Momma Bear in most fans. Adam is truly gifted and I love his talent and the man. Kris is adorable. Life is good! Be nice. Notice that there are more criticising the glamberts than glamberts criticising Kris so maybe that is part of the problem...

    By Justin , Posted August 5, 2009 6:20 PM
  • The "war" is over. Adam won. Even the defeat of AI can not stop him. No one from Idol, all years will be as successful as he will be. Deal with it. I don't care how many instruments Kris can play, or if you think it has anything to do with your cup of "tea", talent like Adam's is rare, if there are fools who do not recognize it the hell with them. They are in the minority. Too bad for them.

    By Ruby , Posted August 5, 2009 6:30 PM
  • A pretty conservative review for a conservative paper. I am an Adam fan and wished I had been there. I really did not like any of the other contestants. I would not agree with the closing remark of this review. It is clear by now that Adam is destined for stardom.

  • Why is is so necessary to insult Adam Lambert fans? It seems to be OK for fans of the other guys to go off without provocation on Adam fans, but it's not OK for an Adam fan to say anything? Hummmm. Something is wrong here. It's acceptable and desirable to have passion, but drop the insults folks. After attending the concert in Texas, I can say that the fans were supportive of both Kris and Adam. But some of the fans rudely left while Kris was still performing to get in line for the autographs. And there was absolutely no booing for Kris as some have mentioned. Frankly, it was difficult to even hear Adam because of the audience noise and lousy speaker system. I agree with the reviewer about Allison. She was the biggest disappointment as her voice was overshadowed by everything else. Matt will do well. He is fun and entertaining. Megan is gorgeous but needs to look for a career outside of music. BTW, I am a huge Adam fan. Looking forward to his new music. Just my 2 cents.

    By Rick , Posted August 5, 2009 9:43 PM
  • Er...I was at the DC show. Do you have a hearing problem??? Adam absolutely got a MUCH MUCH more enthusiastic response than Kris both during the show and in the pre-show videos. This isn't because I'm a Kris hater (he's pretty good) or an Adam fanatic (he's pretty good too). Actually I was there for Allison. But there was no doubt in my mind that 80% of the audience was there just for Adam. After Adam, Matt got the best response - I actually dislike Matt but I heard what I heard.

I have a high schooler son and anumber of his friend and went all the way to Sacramento to see Adam. I also have an Aunt who loves Adam. Many of my age friends think he is fantastic also. He spans 3 generaltions of fans. People from other countries have started fan clubs and absolutely love him. Sounds like Adam Has it!!!! He will last if he continues to sing and keep the generations of fans happy.

    By renogirl , Posted August 6, 2009 5:40 PM
  • You seem to have forgotten the "Adam, Adam, Adam" chanting before he came on the stage, but whatev. The audience was more for Adam than Kris if you must compare, but really who cares bc Kris brought down the house! I never really enjoyed Kris during the show, I'm still shocked he won, but I trully enjoyed him at Verizon. Allison and Danny disappointed me a bit, Danny more than Alli because their awesome voices were slightly overshadowed by the band. However, Alli's Barracuda was so badass she had me rocking out, and Danny's dance in Maria got me all saucy. Anoop was a big surprise, I did not like him in the show, but live he's phenomenal. Matt was a huge stand out, I would go to his show for sure. Scott and Micahel were pleasantly surprising, very engaging, very enthusiastic, I really enjoyed their sets. Lil was better than I remembered. Megan is super gorgeous, I think I have a girl crush, but she can't sing for hell. I love her quikiness and her unique voice, but she gets pitchy and lacks charisma. Adam Lambert is a STAR, done deal. Anyone can say there are different performers and that's great, but Adam is an undeniable star, one of those that come every onece in a generation. Many of these kids have great futures ahead, but Adam is destined for true greatness, there is something about him that everyone else lacks. And his vocals are indeed immaculate, so powerful and haunting, THE MAN CAN SING, period. Besides his talent there is his physical beauty and sexiness, he sure had me crazy. I had a conservative looking middle-aged guy next to me w his whole family who went ballistic when Adam sang WLL, never seen something so funny and interesting. I don't know how you can hold back when describing Adam, if you were there you have to had felt that energy. I was so pumped that I bought tix for the Baltimore show and took a friend, we had a BLAST and swore to get front row tix for Adam's solo tour.

  • We're mad about ADAM here in the Philippines. There are all loyal fans all over the country.
ADAM is now a STAR, is on his way to SUPERSTARDOM and will become a LEGEND. And the AI8 tour responses just confirm America got it wrong. But it's not KRIS' fault. He is likable. But a FACT is a FACT in the real world.
We don't mind opinions, but if you are a writer, give the facts, the truth. Then comment on those. But don't distort just because the facts are not to your liking. Then you do not have the right to be a journalist.
Also, ADAM's fans are not bitter. We are just pointing the facts which are all in favor of ADAM being the STAR. It's when these facts are twisted that we raise our voices.
How can we be bitter if ADAM is getting all the attention and press that he rightfully deserves which makes us fans happy? The bitter ones are those who think their winner is not getting the press and attention a winner should be getting. It's why they begrudge us ADAM's fans who are on top of the world with their idol. When you rule, how can you be bitter???

    By Evita , Posted August 7, 2009 1:11 AM
  • Glamberts are not bitter or nasty. We live by the code of Adam which is to spread light and love as he does. STOP assuming that the 'bitter, Kris bashing" comments come from us. Whoever does this is not one of us. We appreciate their special friendship and we don't BASH anyone.

    By raepat , Posted August 7, 2009 8:06 PM
  • Thank you Evita from the Phillipines for confirming what all true loyal ADAM fans have known ALL along. If we appear bitter it's not because we do the trashing and bashing. It's the TROLLS on the INTERNET who go from one site to another stirring up trouble so the ADAM & KRIS fans will get angry. I am a KRADAM fan and always will be because of the brotherly love that exists between these two marvelous young me and the mutual respect that exists between their families. I even was able to obtain a picture of the "four" brothers (LAMBERT & ALLEN) with their arms around each other's shoulders. So GO AWAY TROLLS & let these talented guys make their music and please their fans. As for some of the articles I read, take most of them with a grain of salt...talk is cheap!!!! Go KRADAM

    By terie , Posted August 7, 2009 11:49 PM
  • I am in the minority because I don't like the Kradam thing. I like Adam because there is always something special in his performance, and he is very smart and talented. Depending on circumstances, he will change things a bit so that he can give the audience what's better fit and surprise his fans, such as the rendition of Starlight at GMA vs. the version sang on the tour. The focus is his singing, not the constume, the make-up or even the comparison on volume of applause received. It is all about his voice that I like. He is an amazing singer. His set in the tour is a mini concert in its own - with choices of different types of songs. It seems that most of Adam fans has to say something good about Kris whilst praising Adam, or otherwise they are categorised as the bitter ones. That's why I don't like Kradam. Don't get me wrong. I like Kris very much as a person - He is nice and humble and cute. I also like their friendship - the acceptance of each others despite of their differences. That does not necessarily make me a Kris' fan. Sorry. I am still not impressed by Kris' stage performance that would make me eager to see him live. That's my preference which has no impact on Kris' support from his fans.

No matter how much I love Adam, I also won't like to become a Glambert. I just hope that Adam will continue to enjoy his music career. He has struggled for many years and is devoted to his music. I wish him success - not a must to become a super worldwide star. His fans really set too high a bar for him - a pressure unfairly put on him. I just wish he will release an album he likes (which is his dream) and the album is well received by those who like his music or like him. He can continue to do his music which I will support.

  • OMG! I can't believe that some of this bitterness is still going on! Some of the posts are down right ridiculous! Both Adam and Kris are extremely talented but completely different in their styles of music. Why do some of you continue to compare them? They are very different and it's a matter of taste as to the type of music that you like. Does it really matter who gets the louder screams? NO, it doesn't. Does it matter who won AI? NO, it doesn't. Both Adam and Kris have said this over and over and over. These two guys have become the best of friends and have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for each other. Haven't some of you listened to thier interviews? Adam has said that Kris is one of the most talented, kindest, genuine, gracious people he's has ever known and Kris will be his friend for life. Kris has said that Adam is one of the most gifted, talented, performers that he's ever seen and he loves and respects Adam because he is a great guy as well and a very good friend. They are both very excited about their careers and want nothing but the best for each other. I just don't understand why some people feel they need to compare them or say hateful things about them. If you don't like one or the other that's fine, but please keep your negative comments to yourself. Personally, I am a Kris fan but I don't deny Adam's amazing talent. Kris is just more my style but I would never say anything negative about Adam because I think he's so talented and a great person. Why do we have so many different genres of music? Because not everyone has the same taste. There is Rock, Pop, Country, R & B, Jazz, Soul, Rap, Electronic Funk, etc... Both Adam and Kris are great guys and deserve some respect. I was always taught, If you can't say something nice about someone, then don't say anything at all. Come on people... why can't we all just get along and enjoy the music and the gift that these guys are giving to us. Love your favorite but give respect to the other as well. I say congrats to both Kris and Adam! They are both winners and I only wish more people would show some love instead of so much hate. We have so much negative stuff going on in our Country right now, this is the last thing we should be fighting about. PEACE!
