SHE CAN WRITE SHORT?
Wanting to counter numerous fakes on Twitter, "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling has set up her own account at Twitter.com/jk_rowling. But she warned that she didn't plan many tweets. "I should flag up now that although I could twitter endlessly, I'm afraid you won't be hearing from me very often as pen and paper is my priority at the moment," she wrote.

BABY TO BE FED CREDIBLE NEWS, FRIVOLOUS DRIVEL
It's a boy for CBS chief Les Moonves and his wife, "Early Show" host Julie Chen. CBS says Charlie Moonves was born Thursday morning and "mother and child are doing well." Chen announced her pregnancy on the "The Early Show" in April. She also hosts the U.S. version of the reality TV show "Big Brother." Moonves and Chen were married in 2004. He has three kids from a previous marriage.

TUPAC'S MOM DONATES HIS PAPERS TO ATLANTA LIBRARY
Tupac Shakur's mother has donated a collection of the rapper's writing to the Robert W. Woodruff Library at Atlanta University Center. Afeni Shakur has handed over more than 150 of her son's items, including drafts of lyrics and poems and a photocopy of his contract with Suge Knight and Death Row Records. The rapper's collection will be part of the archives at the library on the campus of the Atlanta University Center, which comprises the historically black universities of Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University and the Morehouse School of Medicine.

Jamie Foxx is getting a key to Terrell, Texas. The entertainer grew up as Eric Bishop in the town, near Dallas. Gov. Rick Perry extended a Texas greeting to the star Saturday, saying, "Jamie Foxx is the real deal, and Texas is proud to claim you as our son. Welcome home, Jamie!"

KEY PHRASE HERE IS 'FORMER ACTRESS'
Police in Newport Beach, Calif., say former actress Tawny Kitaen has been arrested for investigation of driving under the influence. Kitaen was arrested at about 3 p.m. Saturday when officers suspected she had been driving her Range Rover under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She was released after posting $2,500 bail. Kitaen recently appeared on the VH1 reality show "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew."

Randy Quaid was given a ride from a small Marfa, Texas, jail to get bail money from a bank after the actor and his wife, Evi Quaid, were arrested for allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 California hotel bill. The Quaids each posted $20,000 Thursday night after spending several hours in the jail. The sheriff said the actor received no special treatment.
