» The Main Event: A casual wedding Sept. 9 in Provincetown, Mass. Thirty-five friends and family members will witness the couple's union.

» How They Met: A mutual friend introduced them.

» First Impressions: "I wouldn't call it love at first sight, but from the very start, there was never anything to stand in the way of an ever-growing fondness for Dave."

» First Date: Randy called up Dave the day after they met; they had dinner that night. "That date ended Saturday morning when Dave went to pick up his new BMW. What a way to end a date!"

» How He Proposed: They "mutually agreed to make it official," Dave says, once Massachusetts lifted its residency restriction for marriage in 2008.

» Most Hated Clothing Item: Dave has some distressed-on-purpose clothes featuring "tears, rips, shredding and other signs of having come out of a Dumpster or Neiman Marcus. I think pants with holes should be worn when digging in the yard, not in public."

» Pet Names: Randy calls Dave "Gadgetron."
