B.I.O.: Paul Hinders, Virginia Wilkins

Paul Hinder, Virginia Wilkins
Paul, 26, is a systems administrator. Virginia, 23, is a recruitment manager. They live in Arlington.

» The Main Event: A Nov. 21 wedding at an old Masonic temple in Baltimore. Their pastor will officiate in front of 150 guests.

» Honeymoon: A Caribbean cruise. "We're excited to go scuba diving in the different islands," Virginia says.

» How They Met: On move-in day at St. Mary's College of Maryland. He was a junior and she was a freshman.

» First Impressions: "I was afraid she wouldn't like me." "I thought he was annoyed by freshman girls following him around."

» First Date: Pizza after their rugby practice.

» How He Proposed: She surprised him with a February trip to Puerto Rico with his parents. He attached the ring to her clutch; while on the phone, she kept opening and closing her purse absentmindedly. "Finally," says Paul, "my mom said, 'Look at your purse!'"

» Pet Names: "Nothing mushy; I call him 'Peej'" for "Paul Justin" (his middle name), says Virginia. Paul calls her "Florida" or other state names, "when I want to make her mad."

» Their Song: "Little Moments" by Brad Paisley. "The girl in the song reminds me of her."

» Most-Hated Clothing Item: Her high school graduation shirt that says "Sexy Seniors" on the front.

» When They Knew: He knew after one semester, when he gave her a promise ring at her sorority formal. She knew when she took him to meet her parents and a tree fell on — and totaled — his rental car. "PJ was a good sport and took it all in stride; he even had a sense of humor about it all."
