  • Definitely. They should have pulled the plug on this lame show years ago, but I guess there are enough idiots out there that actually watch this crap rather than getting a life so it is productive for TLC to continue the show. Doesn't this show violate child labor laws? I am certain the only reason Jon halted production is because he was cut out of the money loop and not because he, all of a sudden, decided to be a good father. These people are just exploiting their children and I pray that no harm comes to their development from the cameras being constantly thrust in their little faces.

  • In its present form, yes. However, if they were willing to move to Russia and rename the show "Jon and Kate in a Siberian Gulag", I might reconsider.

  • Anyone still watching that train-wreck of a show are the same people that slow down passing accidents to see if there's any gore visible. I suppose people have to get their fix of drama and depravity from somewhere.

  • The show already destroyed the marraige, Kate should be able to ruin her kids lives too now. The kids have no say in this matter and while some of us think it might be cool to be followed around by tv cameras, thats no way for little kids to grow up.

  • Not really, but ya gotta yank Jon from the show. Coz every man in America now needs TWO women telling him what to do, just like our president now has Michelle on one side, and Oprah on the other. See, a man can't trust his appointed delegates, and can't have a consensus of only one woman. Ergo, the women reach an agreement, then tell the neutered man what to do. Yes, I am saying that it is Michelle and Oprah are really running this country. Don't believe me? Didn't you see the farmer's market by McPherson Square blocking the streets during rush hour? First McPherson, today Chicago, tomorrow the world. Every man, every where, line up and turn in yer nuts. Come to think of it, not a bad idea, but it will cost us the NFL and NASCAR. What the hell, it's Friday, and I am taking the rest of the day off. See ya.

  • I guess someone must watch the show or they wouldn't sell any advertising, but I can't imagine who.

  • TLC doesn't have to spend a single cent advertising this show anymore, because of all the free publicity it gathers. What broadcaster in its right mind would cancel a show with so much press? And although we are all, of course, above the fray and not willing to stoop to such meaningless depths, the *rest* of America is more than happy to watch train wrecks in progress on a regular basis.

Problem is (for TLC), I'm guessing the audience will change rapidly enough from fans to gawkers that once things boil over and get back to a new normalcy, everyone will just tune out to see the next victims.

  • Yes -- I think TLC should pull the plug on this show. I have been a fan of the show but ever since all the media hoopla the show hasn't been the same. TLC is about wholesome programming. Ever since the break up of Jon & Kate the show has lost it's luster. I think it's time to say goodbye to the Gosselins.

  • The show has run its course. Jon is a trashy individual and the public does not need to be exposed to his tragic antics. Kate needs to live her life and focus her energy on her children and not on her 15 minutues of fame.

  • It is a sad state of affairs when reality shows rely on off-camera antics and drama to get viewers to tune into their shows. When your 15 minutes are over, have the grace and decency to get off the stage.

  • Well Yes, that show is horrible. And I agree with the comment from Diogenes. The kids are cute..but the parents are CRAZY!!

  • It's too late now. The couple already let fame and the show ruin their marriage and tear them apart. What would be the point in stopping now?

  • TLC - The Learning Channel? Is this what Americans think is "learning"? Alas, yes.

Even still, that's a sad thought when most people will struggle to make 3 digits.
